Finally I get a picture of the elusive blue dragonflies. the recent cold night got one to hold still long enough for me to snap this picture.
This six foot gopher snake was patiently waiting for just the right lizard, from among the countless ones that ran past him. Or maybe he was just enjoying the bright sunshine!
This little fierce boi has not quite for his flight feathers, so is just preening in the sun prior to planning his first flying trip, which will likely be a little clumsy.
